People facing homelessness in our community know how it feels to get a warm welcome and a good meal at The Haven. They want to share that feeling with the rest of the community. Hospitality is at the heart of Wednesday lunches at The Haven Homecooking! Regular guests of the day shelter help out with all aspects of transforming the dining hall--where we serve breakfast daily to the community-in-need-- into a restaurant open to the public each Wednesday. We all work together to prepare and serve the meal to our neighbors and friends around downtown.
